NI CS3 Learmount Wood – 1st April 2017

Parking will be at Learmount Community Centre, near Park in the Sperrin foothills (click to open map below).

If approaching on the A6 from Dungiven take the B74 *(signposted Feeny / Park) just outside the town. After 2 miles turn left on the B44 (signposted Park) and follow for 5.5 miles to Park. Turn left at the bridge in Park onto the Learmount Road – the entrance to the Community Centre car park is 1/3 of a mile on the right (signposted “School Lane”) immediately before the speed limit end sign.

If approaching from Claudy, drive through the centre of the town on the B49 (signposted Donemana) to the T junction just outside the town. Turn left here onto the Learmount Road (Signposted Park) and follow for 4 miles. Immediately after passing the Park 30 mile speed limit sign turn left into the Community Centre access road (signposted “School Lane”).

Registration will operate from 10:30am. Parking spaces will be limited so please park carefully.

Courses Close at 3:00pm.

Starts are from 11:00-12:30. Starts pre 11:00 should be available for parents needing split runs. Start and Finish will be close to the registration.

  • OAP/ Unwaged £8 (NIOA members £6)
  • Seniors £10  (NIOA members £8)
  • Family £25  (NIOA members £20)

    Courses will be pre-printed on water-proof paper. Code descriptions will be at registration and printed on the maps.

    Food and Drink the Junior Kitchen will be in attendance with good things for hungry Orienteers.

    Toilets are available in Learmount Community Centre. Please do not wear studded shoes inside the centre.

    Dogs must be kept on a lead.
