Who we are – what we do
The North West Orienteering Club exists to promote the sport of competitive and recreational orienteering in the north-west part of Northern Ireland. Participants of all ability levels are welcome.
Each year we organise a number of local events suitable for everyone. In the May/June period we also organise a series of Summer Evening Events particularly suitable for families and beginners.
Club members also regularly travel together sharing cars to attend events run by other clubs in Northern Ireland and beyond.
To take part, just turn up at one of the events listed or use the contact form to find out how else you can become involved. No special equipment is required – just sensible outdoor clothing.
Please see the membership page if you would like to be competitive in Northern Ireland leagues and championships and also receive entry discount at events.
