NI Open Orienteering Championships 2018 – Pomeroy
First there was the wind – then came the rain! Calum certainly left his mark on this year’s classic distance Orienteering Championships making Pomeroy dark, challenging, wet and slippy. In the words of the organiser if Pomeroy was a mint it would have been EXTRA STRONG“! Many thanks to all who travelled and took part, especially those who travelled from down south and from Scotland – good to see former North-Westie Peter O’Hara contending in the very competitive M45 class.
Thanks to Anthony and Steven for courses which squeezed a lot of challenge into a small area, the club volunteers who kept everything on track and to Ursula and the junior kitchen for shelter and sustenance on a difficult day.
