For the second week in a row, the competitors at our Thursday evening event enjoyed the beautiful spring sunshine. There was a bigger turnout at Gransha and everyone enjoyed their runs around the grounds.
The next Thursday event is at Garvagh Forest, Main Street entrance, and is our first Primary School Championship. We have already received entries from Carhill Integrated Primary School and look forward to presenting the trophy to the winning school. There is still time to book a map and receive half price entry.
The Evening Events got off to a start at St,Columb’s park on a glorious evening on Thursday.
However the numbers attending were very disappointing and we hope that club members will make a big effort to get along to Gransha this week. Please remember to book a map if you hope to attend.
Provisional results up below. Email me if you have any issues with these.
Thanks to Bobby for planning, Anthony for Controlling and to Rachel for Organising.
And many thanks to the other club members who stood in the rain at the start, fed the hungry, worked the computer, collected the controls and explained themselves at the finish!
