Good news for event organisers – the NWOC race clock has had a firmware and timing chip upgrade and now should be accurate to a second a week. Previously the clock had drifted so badly it was necessary to hook it up to a computer before each event to set the time! So organisers – next time you run an event just charge the clock the night before (charger lives inside the clock waterproof box) and on the day switch it on!
