Courses
Two courses are on offer. A junior (M/W14-) with a 30 minute time limit and a long score with a 45 minute time limit.
The junior course will be confined to the grounds of St Columbs Park.
The long course will also include Ebrington Square (crossing Browning Drive which is a public road – please take extra care here).
The long course will use a double sided map with even number control on side one, odd on side two. Competitors will initially visit as many even controls on side one as they wish before turning over the map. They then must visit and punch the start on side two before continuing with the odd controls.
Please note that once you punch the side two start you cannot score more points from visiting even controls – the sides must be run in order.

Map
A newly updated 1:4000 map with IOF Sprint-O symbols will be used by both courses.
The Ebrington Square section of the map has a number of bridges / underpasses and these are indicated with lines of black triangles as below. The diagonal shading indicates that the runner can pass below the “bridge”. This is a recent specification change and may be unfamiliar to some competitors.

Please note that all fences and walls marked on the map must not be crossed.
