DESCRIPTION:Parking\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nParking will be at West Strand (free car park) accessed via an arch under the railway line off the Portstewart Road. NB this is a different car park from the East Strand Car Park used in our previous Portrush Urban Event in 2022.  \n\n\n\nToilets\n\n\n\nThere are public toilet facilities in the car park. \n\n\n\nFees\n\n\n\n\nJuniors £4 (NIOA members £3)\n\n\n\nFull-time Student £4 (NIOA /BOF/IOA members £3)\n\n\n\nSeniors £9 (NIOA /BOF/IOA members £7)\n\n\n\n\n\nCourses\n\n\n\n\nLong 7.2 km\n\n\n\nMedium 4.5km\n\n\n\nShort 2.1k\n\n\n\n\nNB In line with Urban Orienteering practice the course details will include an optimal route length. Of course this is much longer than the normally quoted straight-line length. \n\n\n\nOpen and Medium are for 16 years plus\, Short is suitable for all\, including under 16s as no main road crossings are involved. Runners who have hired a dipper can collect them from Enquiries. \n\n\n\nElectronic Punching\n\n\n\nSportident Electronic punching with beacon mode enabled for SI Air on all controls but not on the start and finish boxes which must be “dipped” in the traditional manner.
