SUMMARY:NI Night Championships
DESCRIPTION:\nTerrain\nThe area is made up of a small area of superb natura
 l forest and scrub\, and an extensive area of new native planting. The are
 a is partly managed by the Woodland Trust and partly by a community trust.
  There is a good network of small paths\, ponds\, hills and site of histor
 ical and nature interest.\n\nStrictly NO DOGS due to present of livestock 
 (Sheep)\nMap\nMap Scale 1:7500\nSafety &amp\; Future Access\nThere are a n
 umber of areas marked Out of Bounds on the map. These must be strictly adh
 ered to for safety (Deep Marshes / Livestock) and also to ensure our futur
 e access to this area.\n\n 	The OOB marsh to the west of the map will not 
 be marked on the ground - stay out!\n 	The OOB marsh and adjacent environm
 ental restricted area on the east will be marked with tape - this must not
  be crossed.\n 	The OOB field in the centre of the map contains semi-feral
  livestock - the fence must not be crossed.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nControl stakes w
 ill have a small piece of reflective tape towards the top\, and the one ma
 jor crossing point (NOT compulsory\, but highly recommended to use) will a
 lso have reflective tape for the Night event\, and red/white tape for the 
 Score event.\n\nAll Night Orienteers will be checked for whistle\, clothin
 g with some sort of reflective capability is advisable\, and weather depen
 ding\, a Cagoule\, while still allowing for some sort of reflectivity on c
 lothing\n\n3-blasts from the whistle is an Internationally Recognized Dist
 ress Signal\n\nIt is advised that Night Orienteers carry a spare set of ba
 tteries/Torch\nTree Disease\nCompetitors will be required to use a foot ba
 th/spray after leaving the forest to reduce the chance of spreading tree d

 low this road for 1.7 miles then turn left onto Urbalshinney Road. After 0
 .8 miles travel over the crossroads to Halfgayne Road\, after 0.7 miles en
 trance to Drumnaph is on the right\, travel up this lane\, car parking is

 om Coleraine\n36 Minutes from Drumcroone Roundabout\n\nFollow A29 Drumcroo
 ne Road towards Maghera\, after travelling through Swatragh continue on th
 e A29 for 2.3 miles\, turn right onto Gortinure Road\, Drumnaph will be si
 gnposted with a Brown Signpost at this location. Travel for 1.5 miles and 
 then turn left at the T-Junction with Halfgayne Road and after 0.5 miles e
 ntrance to Drumnaph is on the right\, travel up this lane\, car parking is

 From Castledawson Roundabout\n52 minutes from York Street/M2\n\nTravel Nor
 th from Castledawson Roundabout on the A6 Glenshane Road for 5.8 miles the
 n turn right onto Mullagh Road\, signposted for Maghera and Coleraine. Con
 tinue for 0.4 miles to a mini roundabout\, turn left following signs to Ma
 ghera\, follow A42 Main Street straight at the next mini roundabout\, thro
 ugh a set of traffic lights\, and continue along the Tirkane Road. Drive f
 or 2.1 miles\, then turn right onto Halfgayne Road\, and after 0.7 miles e
 ntrance to Drumnaph is on the right\, travel up this lane\, car parking is
